One hour massage therapy = $105 including HST.


Menu options now include hour long relaxation massage. Designed for those that don't have health related issues/questions requiring more information or assessment. Simply come in, tell me what parts you want touched, (scalp, hands, feet, full body, just back or legs etc) and I will keep questions and talking to a minimum.

Returning patients can request longer appointments 1.5 hours = $160, 2 hours = $215. These can include health related concerns or simple relaxation.

Leslie is able to direct bill most extended medical companies: Blue Cross/Medevie, Greenshield, some companies covered under the Telus Health platform, (ex: Desjardins, GroupHealth, Manion, Manulife etc). **excluding Sunlife and Canada Life due to their billing practices.

If a doctors note is required, please bring a copy to your first appointment or email it beforehand to ensure billing can proceed. 

Functional Massage Therapy accepts all debit/credit cards, cash and e- transfers. Receipts can be emailed or printed at time of payment.

Meet Leslie Clisby RMT

Leslie Clisby became a Registered Massage Therapist in 2005, after graduating from the three year diploma program at the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, BC.  This intense training added to the foundation of relaxation massage that Leslie Clisby was already delivering to the fine hotels and film sets of the Lower Mainland, BC since 1999. 

Immediately after graduating, she choose the field of sport medicine to add to the depth of her care.  She spent three years travelling with a number of Rugby Canada teams as well as massaging at sport events such as:  BC Summer Games, Victoria and Vancouver International Marathons, Canadian Interuniversity Soccer Finals, Slam City Jam and World Cup skateboarding finals.  Leslie spent a summer working with a strengthening and conditioning training camp for NHL, WHL, AHL hockey athletes in North Vancouver to supplement the work she was doing with a Junior A hockey team. Leslie also took care of cyclists, triathletes, snowboarders, skiers, skateboarders, dancers, gymnasts, golfers, artists and professional musicians. 

Leslie Clisby served on the board of directors for SportMedBC from 2008-2012, the Canadian Sport Massage Therapists Association provincial board from 2005-2010 as well as Chaired the Sport Professional Practice Group for the Massage Therapists Association of BC from 2008-2011. All while learning visceral manipulation to broaden her skill set.

Leslie started Functional Massage Therapy in 2011 to better help the general public thrive in the Comox Valley. Now she calls Sheet Harbour home!

She hopes to share her experience and understanding of the human body with her patients to help decrease pain or improve movement.  Patients suffering from discomfort may benefit from an appointment with Leslie Clisby, as she strives to bring your body back into alignment and balance.
